Tap Zap Go EV Charging Instructions

  1. Park your vehicle in a bay and ensure that the CCS2 charge plug and cable will reach your charge port

  2. Plug the CCS2 plug into your charge port

  3. On the payment terminal (small screen on the left), select your charging bay and follow the payment instructions on the screen

  4. Scan the QR code to view your charging session on your mobile phone

  5. Charging will stop automatically when complete. To stop charge manually, select your session on the payment terminal and follow the instructions
    on the screen. When you have finished charging, please put the charger plug back in its socket on the charger

  6. Please scan the QR code on the payment terminal at the end of your session if you require a VAT receipt

  7. Please vacate the charging bay immediately to avoid overstay fees

  • All debit & credit cards accepted (except Amex)

  • Unit Price – £0.49/kWhr, including VAT

  • Overstay fee of £0.50/minute after 5 minutes – If your vehicle remains plugged in or it remains in the charging bay after
    you have finished charging, even if it is not plugged in then you will be charged £0.50/minute after the first 5 minutes

  • This machine will pre authorise £50 on your credit/debit card. This will then credit
    back and you will only be charged for the amount of electricity consumed
