Tap Zap Go Terms and Conditions (UK)
Effective Date: 21st May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Tap Zap Go electric vehicle (EV) charging service. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before using any Tap Zap Go charger.

1. Who We Are
Tap Zap Go is operated by H. E. Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02079614, with its registered office at Whitewall Road, Strood, Rochester, Kent, ME2 4DZ.

2. Our Services
Tap Zap Go provides access to EV charging stations across various UK-wide locations. Users can initiate and pay for charging sessions using accepted credit or debit cards (excluding American Express). Charging sessions can be initiated using contactless payment methods for a fast and seamless experience.
Service availability may be affected by maintenance, connectivity, or other factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to charging stations.

3. Using the Charging Stations
● Follow all on-screen instructions and signage.
● Do not tamper with or damage the charging equipment.
● Use charging stations only for charging road-legal electric vehicles.
● Vacate the charging bay promptly after your session completes.
We reserve the right to terminate charging sessions or suspend access if misuse is suspected. Users may be held liable for any damage caused to equipment.

4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are clearly displayed at each charger and include VAT. By initiating a session, you agree to pay the displayed rate and any applicable overstay fees. Payment is due immediately upon initiation of the session.
Users may pay using contactless methods, including contactless-enabled debit and credit cards (excluding American Express), mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, or chip-and-PIN where supported. All payments are processed securely through our authorised payment provider.

5. Refunds and Faults
If your session is interrupted due to a fault with our equipment, you must notify us within 7 days by contacting us at info@tapzapgo.co.uk. We will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate. Refunds are not provided for user error or unused time.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Liability
We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to follow instructions or from unauthorised use of your payment method. Except where otherwise required by law, our maximum liability for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to the amount paid for the session.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited under UK law.
